With fierce musicality skills on the turntables are just a few talents that DJ Cash Money has to offer. Starting off his career as a dancer in Philadelphia whilst building his skills on turntables by creating mix tapes for the group’s choreography, Cash Money quickly stood out in the DJ scene. From then on, excelling through shows alongside big names like Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money emerged from the Hip Hop scene in the late 1980’s. Cash Money won the New Music Seminar Supermen DJ Battle in 1987 and the DMC World DJ Championships in 1988. Around the same time, turntable manufacturer Technics made Cash Money the first inductee into the DJ Hall of Fame.

The chart topping Switzerland-based DJ/Producer has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Axwell, Benny Benassi, Kelis, Deadmau5, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Kool & The Gang, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello of the Swedish House Mafia, Dubfire and many others. His remixes have been consistently featured on various DJ charts such as the DMC Buzz, Cool Cuts and Beatport and was even ranked in the TOP 3 of Beatport’s Best Progressive House Artist alongside Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz.

A LEADING FORCE IN THE GLOBAL MUSIC SCENE

Discovered by Laidback Luke at the age of 18, Quintino started to take his stature as a DJ and producer beyond the normal club scene, playing landmark gigs and high profile festivals. Highlights include performing at Mansion and LIV in Miami, Pacha in New York, XS in Las Vegas and multiple tours in Europe and Asia. A life-changing break came in 2009 when he released a remix of Cidinho & Doca’s ‘Rap Das Armas’, which became a worldwide summer anthem and notched over 10 million YouTube views. That same year Quintino released the singles ‘Heaven’ and ‘You Can’t Deny’ and made clear he will be around to stay as an artist as well.

When Afrojack initiated a team of aspiring DJs and producers for his imprint Wall Recordings in 2011, it didn’t take long for him to approach his long-time DJ friend Quintino for a musical collaboration. Afrojack and Quintino live up to their reputation as creators of crowd pleasing records with their first collaborative release; ‘Selecta’. Quickly followed by the second single, ‘Raider’ – both on Wall Recordings.

In the summer of 2011, Quintino decided to join forces with Sandro Silva and continued his ascent into the Dutch Dance Music elite with the release of ‘Epic’ on Tiësto’s ‘Musical Freedom’ label. The single topped DMC’s Buzzchart, entered the top five of the Beatport Top 100 and hit the #1 position of the Dutch charts. Smashing clubs, ‘Epic’ was quickly added to the record cases of Tiësto and the Swedish House Mafia. The following months, ‘Epic’ remained at the top of the charts, selling enough copies to gain platinum status in the Netherlands.

THE KINGS OF THE MID TEMPO JAMS

The kings of the mid tempo jams, T W R K, were a mystery before Diplo outed their true iden::es on-air during their first Diplo & Friends show on BBC Radio 1xtra. The duo of Benzi and Esentrik hit the scene crushing dance floors from strip clubs, to frat houses, to the main stages of fes:vals by cranking out dance floor massives, including their global break out "BaDinga" (even Skrillex has his own dance to this one!). 

Their signature sound has everyone knocking down their door for remixes including Major Lazer, Jason Derulo, Naughty Boy & Wiz Kalifa, A-Trak's project Low Pros, and even Diplo himself who's "Biggie Bounce" (TWRK Remix) popped up in the Hollywood blockbuster "Lets Be Cops". Them T-W-R-K boys have held down a year long residency on BBC Radio 1xtra, toured the globe playing major nightclubs and festivals, and are now dropping their debut self-titled EP, via MAD DECENT in May 2015.
